Junk Faxes
Tired of spending money on ink and paper so businesses can send advertisements to your fax machine without permission?
Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1992 (TCPA), any person who sends a facsimile advertising the commercial availability or quality of goods or services without prior express written permission can be liability to the recipient for $500.00 per junk fax sent, or up to $1,500.000 if the violation was knowing and intentional.
We have recovered money on behalf of numerous individuals and businesses in junk fax litigation. If you have the misfortune of receiving junk faxes, don't throw them away. Hold on to all junk faxes and periodically send me PDFs so I can evaluate whether I can help protect our rights under the TCPA.
